The Truth Hurts – Things to Eliminate from your Life Immediately

I think it’s important to keep people in your life who hold your feet to the fire and want to see you achieve your dreams and be the best person you can be. There’s a solid difference between those kinds of people and negative people. Negative people think you’ll fail because they don’t trust you. Negative people don’t even really want you to succeed.

Learning from your mistakes is crucial for growing and preventing those mistakes in the future, but don’t get hung up on it.

Similar to caring about your mistakes, don’t sweat the past. It happened. You can’t go back in time.

I used to have real self image problems, but I didn’t fix it by forcing a more positive image on myself. I just stopped having a self image. It’s been incredible. I just don’t care anymore. Leads to some interesting outfits, sure, but life is way more relaxed.

If you find yourself apologizing over things you shouldn’t be apologizing for, just knock it off. You’re brainwashing yourself into believing a false reality where you’re always at fault. You aren’t. Quit with the sorry.

If you don’t want to. Don’t be weak in the face of the hard ask. Just say no if you don’t want to.

You’re probably just fine how you are. No need to dress to impress.

Hey, be honest. If you have something to say, say it. There’s no need to sugar coat your thoughts and feelings. Be out there, out loud, and real with people. They’ll respect you for it.

One thing that tends to derail me is the belief that now isn’t the right time. Now is now, and the best time to start anything you want to do is at this moment. Don’t let core beliefs slow you down. They’re here to lift you up, not hold you down.

The future is coming one way or the other. Be ready for it, but don’t spend your time in worry about it. It won’t do you any good at all.

Comedian, Bill Cosby released on a $1 Million Bond on a Felony Sexual Assault Charge – What are your thoughts on the matter or the man?

According to Reuters, Bill Cosby was charged on Wednesday with sexually assaulting a woman after paying her with drugs and alcohol in 2004, marking the only criminal case against the once-beloved performer whose father-figure persona has been tainted by dozens of misconduct accusations.

Cosby, 78, walking with a cane and accompanied by two lawyers, appeared for his arraignment hours later at a courthouse in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia, where he posted a $1 million bond, turned over his passport and was ordered to avoid any contact with his accuser.

Smiling and politely thanking District Court Judge Elizabeth McHugh at the end of the brief proceeding, Cosby left the courthouse and was driven to a nearby police precinct to be finger-printed and booked.

He emerged from the police station 10 minutes later and was whisked away in the same black sport utility vehicle that had delivered him to the courthouse. He made no statements as a throng of reporters shouted questions at him.

He is due to return to court on Jan. 14 for a preliminary hearing.

What are your thoughts on the matter or the man?

Woman celebrates 110th Birthday – Key to her success was drink beer everyday (How do you feel about her daily diet?)

According to ABC News, a woman from New Jersey welcomed her 110th birthday with what she says is one of the keys to her longevity – a beer.

Agnes Fenton turned 110 on Saturday. She celebrated at her home in Englewood, surrounded by some of the more 40 children she helped raise during her years as a nanny.

When she was asked for the secret to a long life, she kept it simple.

“Ain’t no secret, just keep in touch with God and do the right thing, that’s all I know,” says Fenton.

In an interview for her 105th birthday, Fenton told ABC News she had enjoyed a beer and whiskey every day for decades.

If you can take it, you can make it – 390-year-old Bonsai Tree survived an Atomic Bomb

According to Yahoo News, a Japanese bonsai tree in the United States is not only 390-years-old but also survived the atomic bomb ,which decimated Hiroshima in 1945.

Donated to the US National Arboretum, Washington D.C. in 1978 – this miniature white pine dates back to the 1625.

The Washington Post reported that Georgetown Law student, Moses Weisberg, discovered this remarkable tree while walking his bicycle through the arboretum.

He said: ‘For one, it’s amazing to think that something could have survived an atomic blast.

‘And then that by some happenstance a Japanese tree from the 1600s ended up here.’

It proves once again If you can take it, you can make it..

Satanic Temple shows off their Goat-Headed statue in Detroit – How do you feel about it? Is it too much?

According to Fox News, a crowd of several hundred gathered Saturday night to see Detroit’s newest resident: A 9-foot, 2,000-pound statue of a goat-headed occult idol named Baphomet.

The Satanic Temple unveiled the bronze figure to an estimated 700 attendees at an undisclosed location. The group’s initial venue canceled after local religious groups protested.

The group’s approach to secrecy with the second venue led to little opposition on Saturday, Director of the Detroit Satanic Temple chapter and national spokeswoman Jex Blackmore told Fox News.

“Protesters arrived for a short time at our first ticketing location, but retreated after only about 30 minutes,” Blackmore said. “One woman attempted to block the event entrance and was removed by the police in cooperation with the building’s owner. “

The statue will now be stored out of public view until the Temple can find it a permanent home. The group hopes to display it at the Arkansas State Capitol, next to a monument of the Ten Commandments.

Woman Arrested for Calling 9-1-1 for bad Chinese Food – Would you do this? When was the last time you complained about food?

According to USA Today in ALLIANCE, Ohio — A 44-year-old Ohio woman was arrested Monday after calling 911 to report Chinese food that was “not up to par for her liking,” according to police.

Tracey McCloud, of Alliance, placed the call to the emergency number from inside Main Moon Chinese Restaurant.

The call did not qualify as an emergency and she was arrested and charged with misuse of 911, which is a misdemeanor, police said.

Alliance Police are reminding residents that misuse or abuse of the system can delay dispatchers from taking calls from people with real emergencies.

McCloud is scheduled to appear in court later this week.

Would you do this? When was the last time you complained about your food? What was wrong with it? Are you just a complainer?

Cops shut down Little Girls’ Lemonade Stand for Operating Without a Permit (Do you think the cops were right or is this too much?)

According to People, two little girls who opened a lemonade stand to raise money for a Father’s Day gift were shut down by police for operating without a permit.

“We were trying to raise some money to take our dad to Splash Kingdom,” 8-year-old Andria Green told KLTV.

Added her 7-year-old sister, Zoey: “We had kettle corn and lemonade. The lemonade was for 50 cents and the kettle corn was a dollar, but if you got both it was a dollar.”

However, local Overton, Texas, authorities had little sympathy for the girls when they stumbled upon their stand. “A code enforcement officer and the chief, she called me to the side and said we needed a permit,” Andria and Zoey’s mother, Sandi Green, said.

Green was shocked. It’s “ridiculous,” she said. “I think they’re 7 and 8 and they’re just trying to make money for their own cause.”

Police Chief Clyde Carter stands by the decision. “It is a lemonade stand, but they also have a permit that they are required to get,” he said. “We have to follow by the state health guidelines. They have to have a permit if they’re going to do the lemonade stands.”

The girls plan to set up their lemonade stand again this weekend – though they’ll only be accepting donations this time around.

Mike Rowe’s thoughts on why we are failing the American people – What are your thoughts? Is he right?

On Sunday, Rowe posted a letter from one Craig P. who complained about Rowe’s “tiresome” work ethic “harping,” filling the note with stereotypes and even calling Rowe’s “Sweat Pledge” “silly” and his whole deal “right-wing propaganda”:

Hey Mike

Your constant harping on “work ethic” is growing tiresome. Just because someone’s poor doesn’t mean they’re lazy. The unemployed want to work! And many of those who can’t find work today, didn’t have the benefit of growing up with parents like yours. How can you expect someone with no role model to qualify for one of your scholarships or sign your silly “Sweat Pledge?” Rather than accusing people of not having a work-ethic, why not drop the right-wing propaganda and help them develop one?

Craig P.

After setting Craig straight about the blame Democrats and Republicans share in the “never-ending dance that gets more contorted by the day” regarding sociopolitical name-calling, Rowe dug into the problem that always seems to get ignored along the way.

“No one said a word about the millions of jobs that American companies are struggling to fill right now,” he wrote.

Rowe then offered reasons why, namely what he sees simply as many people’s desire to not work, if “given the choice,” and the huge dearth of “soft skills.”

“That’s a polite way of saying that many applicants don’t tuck their shirts in, or pull their pants up, or look you in the eye, or say things like ‘please’ and ‘thank you,’” he wrote. “… this is a national crisis. We’re churning out a generation of poorly educated people with no skill, no ambition, no guidance, and no realistic expectations of what it means to go to work.”

“I don’t focus on groups. I focus on individuals who are eager to do whatever it takes to get started. People willing to retool, retrain, and relocate. That doesn’t mean I have no empathy for those less motivated. It just means I’m more inclined to subsidize the cost of training for those who are. That shouldn’t be a partisan position, but if it is, I guess I’ll just have to live with it.”

What are your thoughts on Mike’s response? Is he right? How can we solve this problem?

Happy Birthday to the Most Underrated Producer in the Game (Kanye West)

No matter how you feel about him (Kanye West) is one of the best producers in our generation. He has too many hits to name and his list of accolades are to great to tell. Unfortunately, he believes his own HYPE, which leads to the Kanye that people don’t like, which is the arrogant, boastful and cocky Kanye West.

He had believed in his own HYPE so much that he started to refer to himself in third person then referring to himself to the black Jesus, which I thought was funny. His hate for the media is legendary but we were dumbfounded when he decided to get married to a so-called attention grabbing celebrity, Kim Kardashian. Here’s my point no matter how much you dislike his personal life  or how he acts in general, you can not take away that he is a good lyricist and a fantastic music producer.

If you are still doubting this then check out this full length movie from his Dark Twisted album.

If you still don’t think he’s good, it’s okay because one of the best thing about Kayne is that he doesn’t “Give a F*uck!”

Happy Birthday Mr. West.
