Elizabeth Chase “Lizzie” Olsen is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her roles in the films Silent House, Liberal Arts and the critically acclaimed Martha Marcy May Marlene, for which she was nominated for numerous awards. She is the younger sister of actresses and fashion designers Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen.
Olsen began acting when she was four years of age and co-starred in six of Mary-Kate and Ashley’s productions; she also auditioned for the film Spy Kids. She almost quit acting in 2004 due to the media frenzy surrounding Mary-Kate’s eating disorder. Olsen attended New York University‘s Tisch School of the Arts and the Atlantic Theater Company and graduated in March 2013 after six years of intermittent study. Her sisters’ clothing line “Elizabeth and James” was named after her and her older brother.
I first saw Elizabeth Olsen in a thrilling movie called Martha Marcy May Marlene where she played a girl trying to escape from a cult. I thought she was very convincing in the role and she had a lot talent. It didn’t hurt that she is totally gorgeous and sexy. I had to figure out who she was which I was amazed that she was an Olsen sibling. I’ll be honest, I think she is the cutest Olsen and has the most talent out of the sisters. She has that old school Hollywood beauty but that new school sexiness. I thought she was great in the new Godzilla, even though it was a small role she still made an impact in the movie. You can check her out in Godzilla and the upcoming Avengers movie next year as the Scarlet Witch.

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when an S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy-the Winter Soldier.
Personally, I didn’t care to watch for the second movie from Captain America because I thought the first movie totally sucked.
“Captain America: The First Avenger” focused on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America. As Captain America, Rogers joins forces with Bucky Barnes and Peggy Carter to wage war on the evil HYDRA organization, led by the villainous Red Skull.
It was so slow and out dated, I mean I like period pieces but I thought it wasn’t big enough for the First Avenger like Captain America. HYDRA and the Red Skull was cool but the best part of Captain America, played by Chris Evans, was the big reveal scene where his body is transformed by the help of Tony Stark to become a beefed up superhero. After that scene, the whole movie was a drag and I thought it was too long. I told myself this is the worst comic movie I’ve seen in while since Blankman.
But then I starred to read the good reviews online then a few of my friends said they really liked it, the comic nerd in me had to find out if they were telling the truth or not. And they were right! Captain America: The Winter Solider is very better movie than the first movie. Here are my Five Reasons why you should watch The Winter Solider.
1 – Georges St. Pierre aka GSP makes his major film debut in the movie as a martial arts henchman, but the best part is he finally gets his ass kicked by Captain America. Naturally, in the real world Chris Evans would get his ass handed to him but it was cool to see GSP getting beat down even though it was real. I hope this wasn’t the real reason why he took a break from UFC because he wants to be the next Jean-Claude Van Damme.
2- The kick ass spy, Natalia Romanova aka Black Window, played by the sexy Scarlett Johansson. Please look at the pictures and tell me that doesn’t make your day brighter
3- Legendary actor, Robert Redford plays a great bad guy. I’ve always seen Redford play heroes in his movies but this is a great change up watching him ruthlessly killing people to get want he wants. “Hail HYDRA”
4- One of the reasons why I didn’t like Captain America: The First Avenger because I felt it was on a small scale for such an important huge hero like Captain America. I felt like the producers heard me because this movie is on a grand-scale, which includes the casts, the sets and the ideas are bigger.
5- Of course, it’s starting to be a thing to watch the end credits or the mid-credits to catch a glimpse of teasers of what’s going to happen next in the Marvel Universe. Similar to both The Avengers and Thor: The Dark World, the first post-credits sequence in Captain America: The Winter Soldier is actually more accurately described as a “mid-credits sequence.” Set in an underground bunker, the scene reveals that HYDRA is very much still an active force, with Baron Wolfgang von Strucker (Thomas Kretschmann) playing a key role in the organization. It is clear that the group has continued their work with futuristic technologies, as we can see that they have somehow gotten a hold of Loki’s scepter from The Avengers, but even more impressive are the two prisoners that they have in lock-up. Described by Strucker as beings of the “Age of Miracles,” the two captives kept in separate cages are Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). Quicksilver is shown using his super-speed abilities to try and break out of his cell, but his sister looks a bit more out of it, telepathically getting blocks to float in mid-air.
