I was always fascinated by the idea of living in Europe where each building has its own history, where each place has its own story to tell, and who else is better than Bonn, Germany when it comes to history.
The capital of former country-West Germany. The place of Beethoven. Cologne to Bonn takes only less than half-hour by train, you can even reach via Metro. One of the oldest city was settled by the Romans in 1st century BC. Situated on the bank of river Rhine, the city has more than 20 headquarters of various UN organizations and of course lots of Museums, Opera, City hall, Gardens, and Churches.
The first reason to visit Bonn was the Cherry Blossom trees on Heerstasse. If you are around in April, you are obligated to visit these streets.
