First off, Chappaquiddick isn’t for everyone. This is a political drama about Ted Kennedy’s automotive accident on Chappaquiddick Island that lead to the death of Mary Jo Kopechne. It’s a story that’s complicated in large part to the way the incident was handled. The movie does a good job of covering the incident, the key players, and providing a rather level headed account of what did and might have happened. In the end, it doesn’t answer all of the questions, but on the other hand, that’s kind of the point. It provides you with enough information to get you wondering about what happened and how it was handled. Was Ted in the right or the wrong?
