Day 19: Rejection and Acceptance by Nicholas Catron

Here we are, day 19 and I’m wondering why my phone randomly capitalizes letters when I type. It could be that I have an update I’ve been too lazy to do, who knows?

I am writing this quite a bit earlier than normal and no, I haven’t written on the novel yet. I will tonight, too much to do at the moment. At least I can sneak this in.

I did write a bad ass poem on the bus today. Two more and I’ll be submitting them to a literary journal. This whole submissions thing is getting addictive.

Speaking of which, I heard back today from a literary magazine I’d submitted a flash fiction piece to. Rejected. Yup, straight slush pile shit. That’s okay, I did a little editing and just sent that bad boy right back out into the wild, submitted to another lit journal. See, addictive.
