  1. Love you guys and your posts! You’ve helped me so much on my blogging journey. If you would like could you share this post of mine: https://autiwomandifferentbox.wordpress.com/2017/01/09/i-wont-fit/ i think with the way society is right now everyone could do with this reminder.
Thanks for all that you do. 😃

  2. Thank you!

#AudreLorde: “There is a kind of name-calling increasingly being used to keep young Black women in line. Often as soon as any young Black woman begins to recognize that she is oppressed as a woman as well as a Black, she is called a lesbian no matter how she identifies herself sexually. “What do you mean you don’t want to make coffee take notes wash dishes go to bed with me, you a lesbian or something?” http://bit.ly/AudreLordeRevolution

    Hi!

Thank you for this opportunity! I popped this on your last post like this a few hours ago, but will comment here in case you miss it 😉

Every day I write a poem around 9 randomly generated words…inside 15 minutes. I post them to my blog with insight into the inspiration swimming around my head at the time.

I would love it if you could use any:

    http://www.acomfykindofrestless.com/a-fetching-pet/ (nonsense/fantasy poem)

http://www.acomfykindofrestless.com/glitch/(poem that touches on migrants and how they are treated in Britain, post relates this to how we are ‘programmed’)

    http://www.acomfykindofrestless.com/a-gathering/ (nonsense/fun poem)

http://www.acomfykindofrestless.com/treatment/(parenting poem, and post talks about recently highlighted NHS difficulties)

Hope you enjoy your visit! Thanks again

    Montaffera 😉

    Hello Be Like Water,

I am a newcomer, but have been enjoying what I’ve read so far.

I write a lot of perspective pieces and some poetry (mostly haikus). Any share would be so greatly appreciated. Thanks for doing this!

https://enjayvee.wordpress.com/2017/01/10/irony-the-importance-of-being-present/ (A piece on how being caught up in your own mind even if contemplating the present can lead to some ironic, humorous ending)

https://enjayvee.wordpress.com/2017/02/13/thought-process-haiku/ (A haiku on thought process with uncertainty or anxiety)

https://enjayvee.wordpress.com/2017/02/13/a-valentines-day-haiku/ (A haiku on love; apt for the holiday)

    Cheers, thank you for everything!

    Nick

  8. In the last few years, I’ve discovered the power of being thankful for everything in my life, who I am and who I have for family and friends. This hasn’t come easy for me because for much of my life, I’ve been an arrogant asshole.

This was especially true for my attitude toward my mother and father. I thought they were the dumbest, straightest foks to ever be born. I now love, admire and respect my mother, but my father died before I realized what a wonderful man I had missed knowing. I dismissed hiim early in life and only several years ago realized what I had missed in not knowing him.

No teling what I could have learned from him, if I just hadn’t considered him as old fashioned and clueless. He was a successful businessman and invested his money wisely. I should have been so smart! He gave me advice when I asked, but I never took it. Who’s the stupid one now.

When a friends’ father died several years ago, it struck me that I had never thanked my dad for all he had done for me and my family, so I wrote him a posthumous letter. It’s one of my blogs and you can go read it here.
