As it’s 4th of July weekend passing Independence Day already, AMC decided to have a Walking Dead marathon with character insights of the coming season which is all the way in October this year. As I’m watching old episodes especially last season, I’m starting to notice the shift in the leadership paradigm between the characters of the show.
Of course, Rick Grimes from the beginning was everyone’s leader but after the death of his brother, wife and missing baby, he started to unravel emotional and spiritually. This lead in other people stepping up like Glenn and Michonne, which down the road created a committee with a group of people making decisions for the camp. Making Rick’s responsibilities less and less which he was fine with, as he became a farmer.

But as we saw in the season, a democracy doesn’t last in the zombie world. The committee falls along with the camp with people scattered everywhere in individual groups. But eventually they all meet up again in Terminus in a terrible situation with a bunch of carnivores.
My question is if your stuck in a horrible situation where people or zombies want to harm you, who would you chose to protect or lead you to safety?
Rick, Glenn or the sexy, sword-swinging Michonne?
Personally, I would go with Michonne because Rick is too crazy now and Glenn is a lovesick puppy.
